Criteria for authorship and contributors.

Authorship

Authorship should be reserved for individuals who make substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research.

Criteria for Authorship

  • Substantial contribution to the conception or design of the work
  • Drafting or critically revising the manuscript
  • Final approval of the version to be published
  • Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work

Contributors

Individuals who support the work but do not meet authorship criteria may be acknowledged, with their specific contributions described.

Changes to Authorship

Any changes to the author list after submission require the agreement of all authors and must be requested in writing.
